Pintig (means "Beat" or "Heartbeat") is my thesis output for my BS Graphic Design and Multimedia course in De La Salle University- Dasmariñas. It is a coffee table book anthology of contemporary Tagalog poetry and poets. It also contains digital illustrations of the 12 poems, photographs and bio notes of the 12 poets, which are all produced by me.
Pintig was awarded Best Research Artwork for Digital Illustration in Print (2nd Runner Up), and the research study was also awarded as one of the finalists for Best Thesis.

The poems that are included are: Virgilio Almario's (Rio Alma) Seaman, Michael (Mike) Coroza's Magnanakaw, Rogelio (Roger) Mangahas' Dalawang Tanong, Fidel Rillo's Sa Ganang Akin Po Naman Ay Ito Lamang Ang Ipinamamanhik, Ramon (Rayvi) Sunico's How To Enjoy A Concert: Mula Sa Concert Notes ng Francisco Santiago Hall ng PCI Bank, Roberto (Abet) Umil's Ang Tiwalag, Mariane (Ina) Abuan's Bagyo, Mesandel (Ayer) Arguelles' Eros, Reparado (Repa) Galos' Sa Dalampasigan ng Maynila, Aldrin Pentero's Litmus, Carlos Piocos' Prehistoria, and Michael Jude (MJ) Tumamac's Dalangin.

The front cover has a Spot UV, making the smaller box glossy upon a matte finish cover.

This is the letterform I made for Pintig. The letters are drawn in such a way that it resembles a heartbeat line on heart rate monitors.

Pintig was awarded Best Research Artwork for Digital Illustration in Print (2nd Runner Up), and TUGMA, the research study, was also awarded as one of the finalists for Best Thesis on Premium Awards Night at De La Salle University- Dasmariñas.
